MISSION

The IAFF Burn Foundation was established in 1982 by the IAFF, and is the primary advocate for providing the emergency response community, burn survivors and burn professionals with resources and tools to reduce burn injuries and support those that survive. The Foundation is dedicated to advancing burn research, developing new educational materials and improving the quality of life for burn survivors across North America .

 

The IAFF Burn Foundation is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization affiliated with the IAFF. The Foundation is funded solely through donations received from concerned citizens, organizations and businesses. No per-capita dues are used to support Foundation activities.
