The IAFF Burn Foundation
utilizes the full resources, expertise and staff of the IAFF,
along with its alliance with the American Burn Association
professional organization and its partnerships with a variety
of groups - including regional burn camp organizations and
directors, regional burn foundations and burn centers, 3,100
IAFF affiliates and 280,000 career fire fighters, and fire
departments across the nation - to complete our mission to
produce the most effective prevention materials and survivor
support programs possible.

Burn Prevention Facts
In 2006, IAFF teamed with Liberty Mutual
Group to conduct a national Fire Safety Census. The survey
found that home fires rank highest on the list of top disaster concerns.
